Float in different positions. Find the one that works for you!

One thing you may not have thought of is trying different float positions. You may find one that works better for you. You may be able to take your float experience to the next level by shifting to your side, or curling into the fetal position.

You can change your position as much as you want throughout your session. Your pod will offer more than enough room to move about freely. While on your back, your arms can go anywhere that feels best: by your side, stretched out, up over your head, on your stomach, or even behind your back! I suggest a fun little move called “The Mermaid”. Simply stretch your arms above your head and sway your body slowly from left to right. This little extra movement provides the perfect amount of stretch alongside your relaxing session which will leave you feeling even more refreshed.

Doing Yoga while floating may sound like a bit of a stretch, and it is!

Are you into Yoga? We have many Yoga enthusiasts who try out new positions or attempt to master old ones while in the float tank. Try combining your float with yoga! Both yoga and floating focus on relaxation. While yoga warms up and stretches your body, floating comes in and helps ease any muscle tension. It’s really perfect combo!

You can also schedule a float session for right after a yoga class. Double down on your relaxation and mental focus. We hear that the Tree and Mountain poses work well while floating.

Use these techniques in your next session & experience the deep healing rest that only comes from Float Therapy!
