To protect the float membrane, we do not permit items of clothing, hair ties or jewellry that have metal or sharp edges.

Will I get cold on the dry float?

Unlike traditional float tanks where you’re naked and the water is set to an average skin temperature, with the dry float you are neither naked or in water which can sometimes feel cold.

You are full dressed through out your dry float session, the water beneath the membrane is luke warm so you don’t feel too hot or too cold. There is the option of an additional covering or feel free to bring your favorite movie night blanket for extra comfort.

Is Zero Gravity Dry Floatation Safe?

    Yes, it’s complettely safe.

Unlike traditional wet salt based floatation devices the dry float has very few contraindications and anyone of any age can enjoy its use.

    How does it work?

Once you’ve selected your sound and lightling preferences the Souler Float Wellness associate will program your session and set up everything to your preferences.

You’ll step up onto the dry floatation bed, there’s a platform that you’ll need to lay yourself down on. Once situated your Wellness Associate will start your session then leave the room. The platform will lower leaving your body suspended on the membrane and water below.

Whne your session comes to an end the plaform will raise, once this reaches the final position and stops you’ll be able to easily exit off the bed and come back to reality.

Dry floatation therapy works by simulating the sensation of weightlessness—without immersing you in water. It’s like floating on a warm cloud that cradles your body while your mind drifts into deep relaxation. Here’s how it works and why it’s so effective:

    🛏️ The Setup

    • You lie on a specialized membrane that rests atop a heated water bed (usually around 400 liters of water).

    • The membrane molds to your body, evenly distributing your weight and removing pressure from joints and muscles.

    • You remain completely dry—no need to shower, change clothes, or worry about water hygiene.

🧠 Sensory Relief & Nervous System Reset

    • The experience minimizes external stimuli: low light, quiet surroundings, and stillness.

    • This activates your parasympathetic nervous system, shifting your body from “fight or flight” to “rest and digest” mode.

    • Some setups include guided meditation, chromotherapy lighting, or soothing music to enhance the mental reset.

    💪 Physical & Mental Benefits

    • Spinal decompression and joint relief from the zero-gravity position.

    • Improved circulation and reduced inflammation.

    • Endorphin release and lowered cortisol levels for stress relief.

    • Enhanced sleep quality, mental clarity, and emotional balance

Zero Gravity Dry Float History and Research

    Origins and Evolution

Zero gravity dry float therapy is a modern twist on traditional floatation therapy, which dates back to the 1950s. It was pioneered by neuroscientist Dr. John C. Lilly, who developed the first sensory deprivation tank to study consciousness by removing external stimuli. Over time, float therapy evolved from water-based tanks to dry float systems, which simulate weightlessness without requiring immersion in water.

Dry floatation gained traction as a more accessible and hygienic alternative, especially for those who prefer not to get wet.

    🔬 Scientific Research and Benefits

Dry float therapy is backed by research into the effects of reduced gravity and sensory deprivation on the body and mind. Here’s what studies and clinical observations have found:

    • Stress Reduction: Floating in a zero-gravity environment lowers cortisol levels and boosts endorphins, promoting deep relaxation.

    • Pain Relief: The absence of pressure on joints and muscles helps alleviate chronic pain and supports recovery.

    • Improved Sleep: Regular sessions can reset circadian rhythms and enhance sleep quality.

    • Mental Clarity: Sensory deprivation fosters mindfulness, boosts creativity, and improves focus.

    • Enhanced Circulation: The weightless environment improves blood flow and oxygen delivery throughout the body.

    • Immune Support: Reduced stress and improved circulation contribute to stronger immune function.

The Zerobody Dry Float system uses a heated membrane filled with 400 liters of water to simulate floating, while keeping users completely dry and clothed.

    🌌 Why It’s Gaining Popularity
