STEP INTO A SANCTURY OF INFRARED HEAT, CHROMOTHERAPY AND ACOUSTIC RESONANT HARMONIES TO HELP YOU DETOX, UNWIND AND RELAX
In your own private and largest 3-in-1 Full Spectrum InfraRed Sauna you get up to three different wavelengths in 1 session with an average temperature of 140°. Those wavelengths are Near, Mid and Far InfraRed which you do not get in common InfraRed Saunas found in gyms and other public places as they provide only one, the Far InfraRed wavelength!
At Souler Float you do not share your Sauna session with strangers.
You can book a private time slot for your pre-paid 30-min FS InfraRed Sauna Session online or over the phone and it is big enough for up to 4 adults/friends/relatives/colleagues but most of the sessions are booked for two people allowing each to lay down and enjoy their session more that way…
At Souler Float you are able to customize your FS IR Sauna Session like nowhere else with 6 Customized Programs (see below list)
You do not need to pre-book your customized program.
Upon arrival at Souler Float, let us know which program you want to enjoy.
Here are below our 6 Customized programs to choose from:
CARDIO
- Near, Mid and Far Infrared
- Starts at a high intensity to increase heart rate and cardiac output, then lowers to sustain heart rate level. Circulation increases to promote healthy blood pressure.
DETOXIFICATION
- Mid and Far Infrared
- Starts at a high intensity to increase the body’s core temperature, then reduces to a lower intensity level. Mid and far infrared combination improves vascular access flow to reach toxins at the cellular level.
PAIN RELIEF
- Near, Mid and Far Infrared
- A far and mid-infrared blend provides natural pain relief by reducing inflammation and swelling while near-infrared penetrates the tissue promoting cellular repair at a medium, constant intensity level.
RELAXATION
- Near, Mid and Far Infrared
- Far, mid, and near infrared combination induces deep relaxation as it relieves muscle tension at a low, comfortable intensity, promoting overall stress reduction.
WEIGHT LOSS
- Mid and Far Infrared
- Starts at a high intensity to stimulate the cardiovascular system, then reduces to a medium level. As the body works to cool itself, there is an increase in heart rate, cardiac output, and metabolic rate, similar to aerobic exercise.
ANTI-AGING
- Near, Mid and Far Infrared
- A low, constant intensity level penetrates tissue to help with various skin concerns. Near infrared improves overall skin tone, elasticity, and firmness, promoting anti-aging benefits.Â
At Souler Float you are able to further customize your FS IR Sauna Session by choosing among one of the 16 colors to suit your mood and health benefits.
Here is below our 16 Chromotherapy Colors Guide to choose from:
Souler Float has pushed the boundaries of deep relaxation by having its 3-in-1 Full Spectrum InfraRed Sauna purposely and uniquely fitted with Acoustic Resonance Therapy (A.R.T) Speakers.
Unwind and de-stress even more in your sauna with Acoustic Resonance Therapy (A.R.T.) from So Sound®. This sonic technology combines the healing effects of sound and vibration to relax your body and calm your mind.
Patented sound discs attach to specific spots in the sauna, and an amplified audio signal resonates sound waves. You feel the music you’re also hearing. It creates an enhanced sensory experience for better relaxation and rejuvenation.
Understanding Infrared Saunas vs. Traditional Saunas
Traditional saunas (such as Finnish saunas) work by heating the air to high temperatures (often 170-200°F), which then heats your body. Infrared saunas, by contrast, use specific wavelengths of light—near, mid, and far infrared—to heat the body directly without needing to superheat the air around you. This creates a deeply penetrating heat that can trigger a strong sweat at lower ambient temperatures (typically between 120-150°F).
Near Infrared (NIR)Â penetrates the deepest, reaching into soft tissue and potentially supporting cellular health, mitochondrial function, and tissue repair.
Mid Infrared (MIR)Â penetrates into the muscles and joints, aiding in inflammation reduction and circulation.
Far Infrared (FIR)Â primarily promotes detoxification and cardiovascular conditioning through deep sweating and passive heart rate elevation.
Full-spectrum infrared saunas offer all three wavelengths simultaneously, providing a more comprehensive therapeutic experience than single-spectrum models.
Understanding and Avoiding Potential Infrared Sauna Side Effects
Understanding the potential for infrared sauna side effects is crucial to getting the most benefit out of your infrared sauna experience. As with any kind of sauna, there are potential side effects that can ruin your experience if you aren’t careful. But avoiding them is easy if you know what you’re doing and treat your sauna with the proper respect.
Dehydration
One of the most common infrared sauna side effects is simply dehydration, which can lead to more serious problems if not addressed properly as soon as possible.
Dehydration is the loss of too much of your body’s store of water, usually the result of excessive sweating. While a good sweat is desirable when you’re using a sauna, you do want to make sure you don’t lose too much moisture. Children and the elderly are particularly susceptible to dehydration, so keep a close eye on them.
To prevent dehydration, drink plenty of water before getting into your sauna. After your session is over, rehydrate with lots of water, fruit juice or a sports drink. Avoid drinking alcohol, as it can actually increase dehydration.
Heat Stroke
Heat stroke is a more severe form of dehydration and is one of the potentially dangerous side effects you can experience if you don’t use your sauna properly.
Staying in too long or keeping the temperature too high can lead to heat stroke, when the body can no longer cool itself effectively. If you stop sweating while you’re in your infrared sauna, it could mean heat stroke.
Get out and rehydrate immediately and cool your body temperature down. Other symptoms of heat stroke include headache, nausea, dizziness and a rapid heartbeat.
Bruising or Swelling of Injuries
An infrared sauna is an excellent way to treat arthritis and other long term pain conditions and can contribute to the healing of many injuries, but there are exceptions.
Some side effects, such as enhancement of bruises or inflammation of a sprain or strain, can be triggered if you use a sauna too soon after an injury has occurred. You should always wait at least 48 hours before using the sauna, otherwise swelling can increase.
Exacerbation of Illnesses
Infrared saunas bring pain relief and improved health to millions of people every year, but there are some conditions that don’t respond well to the high temperatures and sweating that accompany sauna usage.
If you have any kind of heart disease, diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, hemophilia, cancer or MS, make sure to talk to your doctor to determine whether the benefits outweigh potential infrared sauna side effects that could cause a flare-up of your illness.
Medication Problems
In some situations, using a sauna can adversely affect the effectiveness of some medications. If you are taking any type of diuretic, barbiturates, or heart medications that could limit your body’s ability to sweat or cool off properly, be sure you get your doctor’s okay before using an infrared sauna.
It’s always a good idea to talk to your physician before using a sauna for the first time. He or she can help you determine whether there are any infrared sauna side effects you need to be concerned about.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I wear for my sauna session?
You are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing to your session and bring a bathing suit to wear during the session. Our full spectrum infrared sauna is in a private space, where only you and any guests you’re scheduled to share the session with have access.
We do not permit nudity or foul play anywhere in the center, you should wear swimwear or shorts and short sleeve top throughout the session.
Will I get too hot in a Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna?
It is recommended that Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna be used between 100Ëš and 130Ëš. It is
best to get in at 100Ëšand turn the heat up to 130Ëš. This lets your body heat up with the sauna.
Unlike a traditional coal sauna, temperatures higher than this are unnecessary, and may actually be counterproductive.
Follow the above protocol if you want to enjoy the benefits of Near and Mid Infrared
wavelengths. Once the sauna gets to a certain temperature, the Full Spectrum Heaters cycle
on and off, meaning you will not reap the benefits of the Near and Mid Infrared wavelengths.
This generally happens around 130Ëš.
• Near and Mid Infrared benefits include anti-aging, pain relief, cell health/immunity, improved
circulation, and weight loss. Far Infrared benefits include weight loss, detoxification, and blood
pressure reduction. DON’T SHORTCHANGE YOUR EFFORTS BY REQUESTING THE TEMPERATURE BE SET UNNECESSARILY TOO HIGH!
Is InfraRed Heat Safe?
Infrared heat is completely safe and all objects give off and receive infrared heat. In fact, it is so safe, hospitals use similar heaters to warm newborns. Infrared is a part of nature and essential for life.
The human body gives off and receives infrared in the far infrared band. When a mother rubs a babies stomach to relieve pain, it is the infrared heat from her hand that is causing the healing effect. We have tuned our heaters to give off far infrared in this same range for maximum absorption by your body and for maximum therapeutic benefits.
How does it work?
• Infrared saunas are different from traditional saunas, and the sweat process is achieved
differently. In fact, you may not sweat at all for the first few sessions. Most people tend to
start sweating after the third or fourth session when following the above protocol.
• Using an infrared sauna at the lower temperatures of 110-125 degrees results in a stickier,
more fat-laden sweat and electrolyte loss. In fact the sweat from an infrared sauna session is
comprised of up to 20% toxins compared to only 3% toxins in the sweat produced in a high
temp steam unit. This is a main reason it is the better choice for detox purposes.
• Remember, it is the infrared that heals, not the sweating! What is important is getting the
most infrared as possible.
What are the benefits of a Basswood Sauna?
North American Basswood is a “white” wood with a yellow to whitish color. Basswood has a very dense cellular structure making it stronger, more stable and sweat resistant. It is also resistant to craking and splitting.
Basswood is also considered hypoallergenic. It has almost no odor and is one of the only woods not considered a “sensitizer” for people with Multiple Chemical Sensitivies.
How many people can use the sauna together?
Souler Float offers a unique and private Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna when you book this therapy it is for dedicated use to only you and any guest you may wish to bring with you (pre-booked with additional charges apply).
The sauna is the largest free standing sauna on the commercial market and comfortably accommodates up to 4 adults (sitting up) or 2 adults if you’d both prefer to lounge back.

How long is a typical session, and how often should I use the sauna?
Our default sessions are 30 minutes but can be extended with through our add-on service options. Most people enjoy 30-45 minute sessions, 3-4 times a week, it is safe to use every day and at a heat suits you best. Research shows that regular use over time brings best results.
Is there a sauna protocol I should follow?
Proper sauna use is important; just like we warm up and cool down our bodies when we exercise, there are some basic steps to follow to ensure you gain maximum benefits of using a sauna.
Before Sauna Use:
- Drink a minimum of 8 oz. of water to prepare your body for an increase in core body temperature.
- Sit or lay down on the towels provided on the benches to absorb sweat. We also supply you with an additional sweat towel, as it’s nice to have an extra around to wipe your face and body during sessions.
During Sauna Use:
- Watch your time: Make sure to adjust your session length in accordance to your body’s needs. If you are just beginning with regular sauna use, it is important to start slow with an easier program to get your body accustomed to infrared therapy. Always listen to your body and adjust based on what it’s telling you.
- Stick with it for long-term benefits: Just as with exercise or eating healthy, sauna use takes time and consistency to see results. You may not even sweat the first few times you use your sauna, but know that sweating (and the detox that comes with it) will increase over time, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and healthy.
After Sauna Use:
- Rehydrate with at least 24 oz. of water or electrolyte drink.
- Dry off and cool down naturally, we supply cold wet wash cloths to help you freshen up and cool off.
What is Sound Therapy and A.R.T (Acoustic Resonance Therapy)
Sound therapy is a beneficial add-on that is included with your session. It sends sound vibrations through the wood into your body to create a physical sensation that harmonizes all systems of your body and induces a deeper relaxation and release.
Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna History and Research
Infrared was first discovered in the early 19th century by Sir William Herschel, he noticed different colors of light and hypothesized hat they have different temperatures. True infrared sauna tecnology emerged in the 1960’s when NASA began researching FIR (Far Infrared) for astronaut health. In 1965 a Japanese docotor received the first patent for a ceramic far infrared heater and in 1979 the first full spectrum infrared saunas became available to the public in the United States and since then, the heating system technology and cabins have been honed to create optimal infrared wavelengths.Â
The idea behind infrared therapy is to heat your body directly with infrared heat. In a traditional sauna you are just sitting in a hot room, 180-220 degrees. In an infrared sauna, the infrared is heating your body directly and 20% of the heat is heating the air. The idea is to increase thermal energy in the body so you want the infrared on your front core and your back core.
The infrared heat increases thermal energy and temporarily stimulates your lymphatic system, immune system and your cardiovascular system. Your bodies response to that is to sweat profusely.
In addition to the infrared heat triggering a profuse sweat, the water in our body also resonate with far infrared heat and this also helps with the detoxification process.
With this in mind, you now understand why we stress the importance of both front and back wall and floor heaters in an infrared sauna. If you do not have front heaters in your sauna, you will not raise your core body temperature as well and you will not receive as much of the desired effect. Souler Float’s Infrared Sauna has heaters all around you… on your front, back, sides, legs and feet.

When is Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna Not Recommended?
Contraindications:
Medical Conditions
If any of the below apply to you, consult your physician prior to sauna use:
Cardiovascular Issues, Obesity or Diabetes – Individuals suffering from obesity or with a medical history of heart disease, low or high blood pressure, circulatory problems, or diabetes should consult a physician prior to use. Heat stress increases cardiac output and blood flow in an effort to transfer internal body heat to the outside environment via the skin (perspiration) and respiratory system. This takes place primarily due to major changes in the heart rate, which has the potential to increase by thirty (30) beats per minute for each degree increase in core body temperature.
Medications – Individuals who are using prescription drugs should seek the advice of their personal physician since some medications may induce drowsiness, while others may affect heart rate, blood pressure and circulation. Diuretics, barbiturates, and beta-blockers may impair the body’s natural heat loss mechanisms. Anticholinergics, such as amitriptyline, may inhibit sweating and can predispose individuals to heat rash or to a lesser extent, heat stroke. Some over-the-counter drugs, such as antihistamines, may also cause the body to be more prone to heat stroke. Individuals diagnosed with medical conditions such as anhidrosis that may limit or prevent your ability to sweat should not use the sauna.
Alcohol and Drug Abuse – Contrary to popular belief, it is not advisable to attempt to “sweat out” a hangover. Alcohol intoxication decreases a person’s judgment; therefore, he/she may not realize when the body has a negative reaction to high heat. Alcohol also increases the heart rate, which may be further increased by heat stress. The use of alcohol, drugs, or medications prior to a sauna session may lead to unconsciousness.
Elderly – The ability to maintain core body temperature decreases with age. This is primarily due to circulatory conditions and decreased sweat gland function. The body must be able to activate its natural cooling processes in order to maintain core body temperature. If elderly, operate at a lower temperature and for no more than 15 minutes at a time.
Pregnancy – Use of a Full Spectrum InfraRed Sauna may result in an increase in core body temperatures. it is not recommended that pregant ladies, if you suspect you may be pregant or in the process of trying to get pregnant, you should consult a physician before considering the use of an infrared sauna.
Children – The core body temperature of children rises much faster than adults.
This occurs due to a higher metabolic rate per body mass, limited circulatory adaptation to increased cardiac demands, and the inability to regulate body temperature by sweating. Souler Float does not allow minors under the age of 17 use of the sauna.
Chronic Conditions / Diseases Associated with Reduced Ability to Sweat or Perspire – Multiple Sclerosis, Central Nervous System Tumors, and Diabetes with Neuropathy are conditions that are associated with impaired sweating. Consult a physician.
Hemophiliacs / Individuals Prone to Bleeding – The use of infrared saunas should be avoided by anyone who is predisposed to bleeding.
Fever and Insensitivity to Heat – Individuals with insensitivity to heat or who have a fever should not use the sauna until the fever subsides.
Menstruation – Heating of the low back area of women during the menstrual period may temporarily increase menstrual flow. This should not preclude sauna use.
Joint Injury – Recent (acute) joint injury should not be heated for the first 48 hours or until the swollen symptoms subside. Joints that are chronically hot and swollen may respond poorly to vigorous heating of any kind.
Implants – Metal pins, rods, artificial joints, or any other surgical implants generally reflect infrared waves and thus are not heated by this system. Nevertheless, you should consult your physician prior to using.
Surgeries – If you’ve had any abdominal surgery, c-section, tummy tuck, or breast augmentation, consult your physician before using the Sauna.
Pacemakers / Defibrillators – The magnets used to assemble our saunas can interrupt the pacing and inhibit the output of pacemakers. Please discuss with your doctor the possible risks this may cause. Serious heart conditions, disease or unstable angina, stroke, heart attack or arterial disease should not use the sauna.
In the rare event that you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness or exhaustion immediately discontinue sauna use.
